The next round of "For Equal Opportunities" training courses was held in Kotayk region
On July 17–19, the next round of the “Equal Opportunities for All” training series was held in the Kotayk Region.
The trainings brought together social workers from the Territorial Centers of the Unified Social Service and target municipalities of Kotayk Region, as well as reception staff and nurses from healthcare facilities.
Participants learned about effective communication with persons with physical, visual, and hearing disabilities, inclusive approaches to service provision, and the basics of Armenian Sign Language, including professional terminology used in the healthcare and social sectors.
The program also included practical first aid training. At the end of the trainings, the target institutions received fully equipped first aid kits and Armenian Sign Language dictionaries, while participants were awarded first aid manuals and certificates of participation.
The series of training courses is implemented by the "House of Hope Charity Center" Foundation within the framework of the "Women's Empowerment for Wellbeing" (WoW) program, funded by the German government and supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
